A Tritonia hamnerorum Nudibranch moves across a Common Sea Fan (Gorgonia ventalina) on the Aquarium dive site off the coast of Islamorada, Florida. This relatively small tritoniid feeds exclusively on gorgonian sea fans and is sometimes found in large numbers.
This nudibranch removes distasteful chemicals from the sea fans and stores them for its own defence.
